Use the Edgemate 100 for many applications including backsplashes, bevels, seam dressing, grinding back laminated build
ups and tops with inside corners like your "L" shape and bat wing tops. Because it is portable, you carry the machine to the
stone, not the other way around, saving time and labor costs.
- Set the Edgemate 100 on its own table just to do backsplashes. Just slip
the backsplash underneath the track while the track and machine stays clamped to the table.
- The Edgemate 100 has a 45 degree
stop to do beveled edges. It also has sliding stops to do any type of bevel including an inverted bevel.
- For small shops without a
bridge saw, the quality of your saw cut becomes less important because you can remove the saw kerfs in the edge shaping procedure.
- Shops that do laminated or built up edges won't need to go back and re-saw the edge, just start with a coarse cup wheel and grind
back your glued up edge.
Use the Edgemate 100 to prep your seams to create a nearly invisible seam. Use the Edgemate to grind the stone
seam back using a cupwheel until all the chips are removed from the top face of the stone. Then grind a back bevel to allow
space for the epoxy, all in one set up.
